Saturday 14th August - Art Workshop and Historical Tours of the Chapel: 12-4pm
The Art workshop, titled “150 Songs of Celebration” is a collaborative project, where we are inviting artists and members of the local community to creatively respond to one of the 150 Biblical Psalms. Each participant will be given a small square to work on, which will be joined together, to form a large artwork, celebrating the diversity of our community here in Newtown.
Sunday 15th August - Celebration Service, Lunch and Entertainment all afternoon!
The Celebration Service, featuring highlights from Newtown Mission’s history, special guests and lively worship by Newtown Mission’s Tongan choir, is a celebration not to be missed! Directly following the service will be lunch and entertainment throughout the afternoon.
Service: 9:30am | Lunch: 12pm | Live Music and Entertainment - Until 4pm
All events will be held at Newtown Mission Chapel: 280a King Street, Newtown
