Explore your creative potential with other like minded people

Create in the Space is the initiative of two artists in the Newtown Mission congregation who seek to understand and encourage visual arts in our world today. Our aim is to provide a regular “art” space where people can feel free and comfortable to bring in their own artistic projects, explore their creative gifts and learn new skills, participate in discussion and explore different ideas and debates about art, creativity and faith. Meetings will be held at Newtown Mission church and incorporate both open community and individual projects.

Author and poet Madeleine L’engle said: “Creativity is a way of living, no matter what our vocation or how we earn a living” We believe that we are all artists in some shape or form.

Join us on the second Saturday of every month from 10am-12pm, at Newtown Mission chapel, 280a King Street Newtown (opposite the Dendy).
