Newtown Mission HouseHolds:

Newtown Mission has established several households where Christians can live together in intentional community. The people who live in these households may be students, apprentices, professionals, trades people or visiting missionary workers or new Christians establishing a new lifestyle.

Newtown Mission can become your spiritual home, where you can receive spiritual leadership and oversight.

Each household unit is woven into the life of the church through Sunday worship, mid week small group participation, opportunities for serving God together around the Mission and developing community.

We, at the Mission, are keen to hear from people who want to follow Jesus, who are committed to making Jesus Lord of their lives and of their homes, while studying or working in Sydney.

A past resident reflected on the purpose of Newtown Mission Households as such:

“A household isn’t just a household for the purposes of living together, but there is a purpose beyond that, that people have been brought together, not because they thought it was a good idea, or because it was cheap… but because they had a ministry to perform, if not as a complete household, then parts of that household ”.

If you are keen to find out more about the Newtown Mission Households, please contact Pastor Andy Collins.
