Volunteering under the Revelation Ceiling

Never fear! Newtown Mission has something for everyone!

Here at the mission we believe that sharing our faith should be a natural part of our everyday life.
We engage with people at street level, by assisting people where they are at, welcoming people into our gatherings and engaging with people as they drop by.

Our Revelation Ceiling opening hours are a fantastic opportunity to connect with a broad cross section of the community. Many people pop in to look at the artwork, and end up asking about who we are, what we do, and wanting to find out more about our faith.

Volunteering under the Revelation Ceiling is a great way to grow in your confidence to relate to a wide range of people, and learn to incorporate the subject of faith into every-day conversations.

We host regular training events to enable you to share your faith with a range of different people.

The next training session will be held on:
Saturday August 29th, 2009 from 10am – 4:15pm.
At Newtown Mission Chapel, 280a King Street Newtown.
FREE OF CHARGE, Includes lunch and morning tea!
