Services @ Newtown Mission:

Sunday Services are one of the main focal points of church life and are generally held twice a week in Newtown. A family service for Australian Tongan community is held at 1pm each Sunday at our Tempe Church site. Once a month, ususally the first Sunday, both the Newtown Mission and Tongan congregations join together for a morning service for a special bi-cultural worship service followed by Morning Tea. Our Church Services tend to be less formal & usually involve a time of worhsip, reflection and hearing the Word of God!! Services are usually followed by morning tea or supper, with some of Newtown’s finest fairtrade instant coffee :-) We’d love to see you at one of our Sunday services!!

Sunday Worship: 9.30a & 6p in the Chapel.

Prayer Meetings: 30 minutes before each, Sunday service.

Sunday School: 10-11a each Sunday morning.

Drop In Worship: 6p-6.30p Thursday in the Chapel.

Adult Bible Study: Sunday @ 12p in the Chapel during School Terms.

Women's Group: Contact Mel in the office for more information.

Small Groups: Meet regularly throughout the week and in various locations, contact Ps Andy for information.
