Sunday Service Times

Sunday Services are one of the main focal points of church life. They are held on Sundays at 9:30am and 6:00pm in the Chapel.

A family service for Australian Tongans is held at 1pm at The Tempe Church. On the first Sunday of the month the morning service and the Tongan Fellowship combine at Newtown for a special bi-cultural worship service.

Newtown Mission services are generally informal, and usually involves a time of singing and reflection, open sharing time, and teaching from the Bible. Services are usually followed by morning tea/supper, with some of Newtown’s finest instant coffee.
