Reverend Pastor Doug Clements- Senior Pastor
Pastor Doug has a passion for seeing God's kingdom come, in Newtown and all over the world. A missionary at heart, Doug travels across the globe regularly training emerging indigenous Pastors and leaders. He oversees the diverse work at the mission, with a real passion to see peoples lives transformed by the teachings of Jesus. He and his wife Helen have been serving at the mission for over 2 1/2 years.</a>
Reverend Pastor Brian Unterrheiner- Compassion Pastor
Brian is the Compassion Pastor at Newtown Mission. Previously Brian was the Associate Pastor for 7 years at Penrith Church of Christ, ministering to those less fortunate.
Brian's current activities involve managing our ‘Drop In’ and providing support and care for its guests. His vision is to see an effective team of Christian men and women refining their gifts and talents in a healthy and exciting "environment" of ministry and service.
Reverend Pastor Andy Collins- Discipleship Pastor
Prior to entering full-time ministry, Andy worked as a Ranger for the National Parks and Wildlife Service in Armidale, NSW, spending alot of time hanging out of helicopters.
Before coming to Newtown, he was CEO of Berowra Gatehouse, a combined churches outreach affiliated with Teen Challenge. His role here is that of the Discipleship Pastor.
Amanda Hallihan- Revelation Ceiling Coordinator
Amanda has been working at Newtown Mission as the Revelation Ceiling coordinator for the past 2 years in a unique roll which includes explaining the Revelation Ceiling artwork to guests, managing a team of volunteers, an initiating creative projects under the Revelation Ceiling. Her background is in art and graphic design and is currently studying a Master of Theological Studies at Wesley Institute.
