Over 200 meals, over 150 hampers, over 30 volunteers, over 15 organisations and one amazing 2019 Newtown Mission – Jordan Cafe Christmas Day Lunch! A wonderful time was had by all. The lunch was beautiful and the food was excellent. Thank you to all those who partnered with us! Thank you to those who donated food, donated gifts, donated for the hampers, donated financially, etc. A BIG thank you to our wonderful Team and all those who joined us for the day.
We received great feedback on the day! And, people commented about how nice it was that so many of our friends from Jordan Cafe Community come along: ‘Regulars’ and the ‘locals.’ There was a real and warm sense of Community and Family, which was lovely and gives us a glimpse of God’s vision for the Jordan Cafe: To be a Church, by the Community, for the Community.
