My name is Tracey

I try to do good things and say kind words. I want people to feel comfortable around me - that’s always been important to me.

When I’m not working or helping out, I love playing volleyball or table tennis or going for walks to clear my head.

When I first came to Newtown Mission, everyone was so kind and friendly that I immediately felt at home. Each Sunday, the worship songs lift my spirit, and the sermons strengthen my faith. Week after week, I’m reminded of God’s constant love and grace in my life - not just for me, but for my family too.

One sermon that really stayed with me was about serving our neighbor's and loving one another. What moved me most was that this church doesn’t just talk about love - it lives it. I saw that love in action through the Jordan Café, and it inspired me to volunteer. Serving others there brings me real joy.

Looking ahead, I hope Newtown Mission continues to grow - reaching more people in our community and helping them come to know Jesus. Simple acts of kindness, like sharing a meal or knitting a hat, show love in such a practical way. Those small gestures can touch hearts and maybe even lead someone closer to faith.

That’s the kind of love I want to be part of - love that’s lived, not just spoken.
